How to use the signal generator

Select an electrical testing signal generator with the same voltage level as the electroscope. The hand-held electroscope working part (electroscope head) contacts the electrode head of the generator with the electrode head of the tested appliance, and presses the "work" switch. At this time, the electroscope emits an acoustooptic signal indicating that the electroscope is in good condition. If a silent light indication indicates that the electroscope is faulty, it should be repaired or replaced before use. When detecting the proximity alarm helmet, simply press the "work" switch with the electrode head of the high-voltage signal generator close to the alarm.
