Overview and Features

The Tektronix MSO56B Mixed Signal Oscilloscope of 5-series offers better visibility into complex systems by offering six FlexChannel model with a large 15.6-inch high-definition (1,920 x 1,080) display. Suitable for applications such as embedded systems, three-phase power electronics, automotive electronics, power supply design, and DC-to-DC power converters where more than four analog signals are required to verify and characterize device performance, and to debug challenging system issues. FlexChannel technology enables each of the inputs on the Tektronix MSO56B Mixed Signal Oscilloscope to be used as a single analog channel or eight digital channels.

The Tektronix MSO56B Mixed Signal Oscilloscope contains an integrated 4-digit digital voltmeter (DVM) and an 8-digit trigger frequency counter for the precise display of the frequency of the trigger event being executed. Any of the analog inputs can serve as a source for the voltmeter as well as for the oscilloscope use. The MSO54B also features an optional onboard Arbitrary Function Generator (AFG) that is ideal for simulating sensor signals or generating noise signals when performing limit testing. The waveform generator allows output of predefined waveforms up to 100MHz and offers 128,000-point recording for loading waveforms from an internally stored file or USB storage device.
